Here are the new features implemented over the weekend!

Image Previews

Images can now be previewed, simply by hovering your mouse cursor over the image you will see a smaller preview version of the image.

(thanks to Martin for proposing this idea).

Fixes

Several fixes have implemented over the weekend. Here they are:

• Extended User Profiles with some more useful information, such as total image views, profile views, and total album views. Have a look at your profile and see for yourself!
• If you connect your characters to your Tibia Hall of Fame account it will automatically create a party named "My Characters" consisting of your connected characters (you can use a party to search on Activities or Fast Levels for example)
• Replaced the Preview Comment checkbox (on articles and image pages) with a button
• The amount of views an article has is now displayed
• Fixed a minor bug that caused guest users to not be able to quick search
• Fixed another minor bug that prevented users from adding images to albums
• Fixed several other bugs, e.g. images that have been reported and hidden by admins are no longer displayed in albums
• Fixed the styling in certain parts of the website

We’re also happy to report that we are currently tracking 16 600 characters (an increase of 1.6k players since Feb 03) as well as over 20k image views!

Another sunday, Another update!

This week we've had some problem with users being logged out, but we have managed to track down the cause of this and removed it. If you are still experiencing any problems with being logged out, please let us know in the comments below or on the feedback form (link at the end of this article).

Anyway, here are the most recent changes to the website:

Minor Fixes

• Fixed login/logout problem. Users should no longer be logged out spontaneously - if this problem subsists, please contact us
• Search results will now redirect if it finds 1 result. E.g. if you search on Mirade in Character Search it will redirect you to Mirades character profile instead of showing the search results.
• Fixed a few minor bugs

Quick Search

Quick Search is a new feature which acts as a central point for searching on the website. With Quick Search you can search on pretty much everything: Images, Characters, Users; even Activities and Fast Levels!

So how do you do a quick search? Well, just write in what you are looking for and then choose your search method, like this:

The short answer is: Yes, all your uploaded images will appear on most recent images.

The long answer is: Currently we do not support uploading multiple images, so you have to upload one image at a time and then add each image to your album.

We are planning to implement uploading multiple images in the future , but I can't say when we will do it. We are currently working on fixing the design and layout of the website, which will take us some time (as well as translation into foreign languages and a few other things). But it's definitely on our TODO list

Tibia Hall of Fame is finally officially supported by tibia.com and many new pics have been uploaded to the website. There is still a whole lot of work ahead of us. We would also like to thank the websites (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6) that have been linking to us!

With all of that said, here are some of the recent changes to the website:

• Albums are from now on made public once at least 1 image has been added to it (subsequently if an album no longer contains any images it will be hidden from the public automatically as well).
• Player Activities that contains updated comments now displays the comments when the user hovers their mouse over the link, like this
• Added Supported Tibia Fansite banner
• Top Rated Images are now only displayed if an image has received at least 2 votes - this number will increase as more images receives votes
• Now tracking +15k characters - a substantial increase of characters
• Added Site Helpers to Credits - special welcome to new Site Helpers Pitt and Kuyen
• Fixed a bug that prevented users from searching Activities and Fast Levels by vocations
• Fixed a few minor bugs and grammar errors

Future fixes and features

As we have promised earlier (in this post), we are planning to implement two new features: Skills Redux and Improved Search.

By the end of every week for at least a few weeks ahead we will bring new updates to the website - every sunday at approx. 11AM (1 hour after SS) we will update the website.

Some people are not satisfied with the current look and feel of the website, and neither are we. We are currently looking at ways to improve on it, but we can't say for sure how long it will take before a new, improved look of the website will take shape. Once we get there we will let you know!
